4Social Work is a specialist recruitment agency for social work and social care. They help to recruit across the social care industry, from Junior Administrators to Qualified Social Workers. In October 2011, the new 4Social Work recruitment website went live and uses the latest technology from Recsite to offer an improved, interactive experience to candidates and consultants alike.

At the forefront of the design process for the new recruitment portal was the need for the site to be as intuitive as possible. 4Social Work reach out to candidates across the globe who are looking to work in the UK social care industry, as such it is essential each visitor engages with the recruitment website in a positive way.

Key Features of 4Social Work Site

Job Counter

Positioned in the top right of the home page, the job counter displays the number of live jobs are on the website. This gives an instant reason for job-seekers to engage further with the site, in the knowledge that there are fresh vacancies available.

Latest Job

This module also helps to encourage web visitors to look further into the site as it shows fresh, up to date vacancies.

Job Search

A quick job search module, on the left of the home page, makes it easy for visitors to access relevant jobs quickly. The list of industries, sub-industries and locations can all be managed by 4Social Work staff and administrators. Once a search is performed, the visitor will be able to use an advanced job search function to filter.

Browse Jobs by Sector

The industry sectors are displayed on the home page, with the number of live jobs alongside. This also increases engagement with jobs and pulls in candidates to the vacancy section.

Job Cart

When a candidate sees a job they are interested in, they can choose to add it to their job cart. There is an icon in the top right corner of the page which displays the number of jobs stored in the cart. By clicking on the cart, the candidate can apply to all jobs.

Job Adverts

The layout for the job description is a result of extensive usability testing. The layout is easy to read with bullet points showcasing the key elements of the job. The candidate is then able to apply instantly by clicking the 'Apply' button. Visitors are also able to send the job to a friend via an email form or share the job on their LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter accounts.

View Similar Jobs

Each job description page displays similar jobs based on location, industry and job type. This helps candidates find all relevant jobs for them and engage more with the recruitment website.

Candidate Registration

Another call-to-action on the home page is the register with us feature which is important for talent management. This leads candidates to the interactive CV builder page where they can profile themselves and upload a CV file.

Candidate Zone  

The 4Social Work website offers personalised features for registered candidates on the recruitment website. Interactive features such as application tracker and job recommendations helps to speed up the application process for consultant and candidate alike.  

Key Features 

CV Builder

Registered candidates are encouraged to complete their online CV builder, as well as upload a CV file. This helps to provide the most up-to-data about the job-seeker and make their profile more searchable. The CV builder is intuitive and fast, with a fluid layout which keeps the candidate on just one page.

Overview Page

After registering on the site, candidates can an overview of their recruitment activity. This page is personalised to the specific candidate based on the criteria selected within the CV builder preferences. There is a graphic illustration showing what percentage of the cv builder has been completed, helping to ensure all relevant candidate data has been entered.

Recommended Jobs

Within the My Candidate Zone, the candidate will see recommended jobs based on their desired job and profile settings. This rewards the candidate for registering and supplying the relevant information. Candidates are then able to easily apply for those recommended jobs

My Jobs

Based on the selected job sector, candidates can browse jobs within the sector and the number of live jobs for each position.

Application Tracker

Candidates can track the application status of jobs they have applied for. This streamlines the communication between candidate and consultant.
